How to Care for your Ring
A little everyday care will help keep your Alpine ring looking its best. Follow the guidance for every material in your ring, and check its product page for the specific water-resistance rating.
Tungsten rings
Clean plain tungsten with mild soap, lukewarm water, and a soft cloth. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Tungsten is scratch-resistant, not scratch-proof or unbreakable, so avoid drops onto hard surfaces and heavy impacts.
For plated or colored finishes, avoid abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds, and rough cleaning pads. If your ring includes wood or antler, follow that material's guidance too.
Titanium rings
Gently clean titanium with mild soap, lukewarm water, and a soft cloth, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive pads and cleaners that can mark the finish. For rings with wood, antler, or other inlays, use the gentler care appropriate to those materials.
Wood interiors and wood inlays
Water protection varies by design. Some styles are listed as waterproof; our lightly sealed rustic wood designs are water-resistant and aren't intended for repeated submersion. Follow your specific ring's product description rather than assuming every wood ring has the same protection.
For routine cleaning, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry promptly. If needed, use a little mild soap on the cloth and wipe away any residue. Avoid soaking water-resistant wood designs, and remove them before swimming, showering, or washing dishes.
Antler inlays
Gently wipe antler accents with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry promptly. Avoid abrasive scrubbing, harsh chemicals, and prolonged soaking. For rings combining antler and wood, follow the guidance for both materials and the product's water rating.
Solid wood rings
Solid wood rings need extra care. Avoid heavy pressure, impacts, and sharp contact with hard surfaces that could crack or split the wood. Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Don't soak your ring or use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
Everyday care and storage
Remove your ring before heavy lifting, contact sports, working with tools or machinery, and handling cleaning chemicals. Avoid bleach, solvents, extreme heat, and sudden temperature changes. Store your ring dry, away from other jewelry that could rub against its finish.
